DJ Bagwell is a pastor, speaker, and author with a deep passion for communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ through practical teachings and illustrations, accompanied by signs, wonders, and miracles from God.

Growing up as a "pastor’s kid," DJ was actively involved in the church from an early age—singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School, and taking on any task the church needed. These formative years instilled in him a strong sense of service, honor, and responsibility to the work of God. As he matured, DJ’s leadership gifts became evident, leading to his rapid promotion to oversee Men’s Ministry at both Center For Hope Ministries in Bloomington, IL, and later, at CityLife Church in Tampa, FL. DJ and his wife Denice also served as Pastors at the CityLife Church East Lake Campus.  During his time serving as Campus Pastor, DJ became an Ordained Bishop through the Church of God fellowship in 2023.

In addition to his pastoral duties, DJ is the co-founder of Share Hope Global, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing relief to underserved communities and sharing faith-filled resources through books, podcasts, and video. Most recently, God has opened new doors for DJ to travel, evangelize, and preach the Gospel across the globe through DJ Bagwell Ministries.

Throughout his ministry, DJ has worked bi-vocationally, bringing nearly two decades of business and leadership experience, having held roles with several multi-billion-dollar international corporations. As a former scholarship football player, DJ graduated with academic honors from Western Illinois University, earning both a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s in Communication/Marketing.

DJ and his wife Denice reside in Tampa, FL, with their three children, Ivana, Gianna, and Elijah.
